[Can't Stop Loving Idols!! #14] Rena chose Dempagumi.inc as idols she wanted to see most! She’s visited them in the backstage and interviewed them just before the event began. (2012-06-13)
I’m Rena, the one with mushroom hair from VanillaBeans, a clean and innocent girls’ unit having come here on the wind from north Europe. I’m reporting for “Can’t Stop Loving Idols!!”
I bring you report from the in-store event by Dempagumi.inc whom I’d wanted to meet all the time! They’d just released both A-sides single “Dem parade JAPAN: Tsuyoi Kimochi, Tsuyoi Ai” on Wednesday, May 23 and held in-store event at TOWER RECORD in Shibuya on the following day. I’d been anticipating for the first single after they welcomed new members.
For the beginners, Dempagumi.inc is a group of 6 girls Eimi Naruse, Moga Mogami, Risa Aizawa, Mirin Furukawa, Nemu Yumemi and Ayane Fujisaki. They belong to the “MEME TOKYO” label, which has been co-established by TOY’S FACTORY and Maiko Fukushima, who represents Moe Japan. They regularly perform at Akihabara Dear Stage based on the theme “To spread happiness to the world with Moe-kyun songs”.
The event of that Dempagumi.inc could be described as “the stage fans and members create together”. In this event, they started with “Kiss+kiss de owaranai” and introduced themselves after the song. The way they introduced themselves should be noted. After each member finished her usual introduction, everyone in the audience called her name together after the call “Let’s go!”
The fans in the front row instructed the beginners how to call their names with sign boards. I was really impressed by that!
After the self introduction and the talk, they performed my favorite songs “Future Diver” and “Dem parade JAPAN” on end. During the choruses of “Dem parade JAPAN”, the fans were part of the dance movements. The members came to the edge of the stage and touched the hands of the fans in “Washya Washya” way which I regret was difficult to describe with words.
The last song was “Tsuyoi Kimochi, Tsuyoi Ai” the song by Kenji Ozawa arranged by Kenichi Maeyamada aka Hyadain. The dance movements for the song were so cute. Ho, hoo, hoo, ho, hoo, hoo. Please forgive me for using so much sound imitative words in this report.
I want more people to witness the performance of Dempagumi.inc!! Please try at least for once (heart mark).
Japanese idol culture keeps on developing. The performance of Dempagumi.inc leads the culture. Idol world never stops developing. And Rena can’t “Stop Loving Idols!!” even more. Kinoko(mushroom)-n♪
